1. Theme Parks Galore

Let’s just get this one out of the way first. Most people think of theme parks, specifically, Disney World, when you say you’re from Florida. And while Walt Disney World is the most well known and visited, Florida’s theme park industry doesn’t stop at the mouse! Orlando is home to legendary theme parks such as Universal Orlando Resort, with it’s 4 parks, including the new Epic Universe, SeaWorld Orlando, Gatorland, Discovery Cove and Aquatica. Central Florida also boasts Busch Garden’s in Tampa, Legoland, and Peppa Pig Land in Winter Haven. These magical and thrilling destinations promise unforgettable adventures for visitors of all ages and provide a variety of theme park fun for everyone!

A major draw as a top vacation destination is the weather and Florida has that in spades. True to its nickname, the Sunshine State offers sunny weather virtually all year. Florida does experience a storm and hurricane seasons that travelers should be aware of when planning vacations. However, the storms are often short-lived downpours and shouldn’t deter you from visiting. Visiting during hurricane season is risky, but we suggest keeping up to date on the weather as it impacts your vacation!

4. Unique Wildlife

There is a lot more to Florida than the Theme parks and beaches and Florida’s rich biodiversity is a haven for nature and animal enthusiasts. Explore the Everglades to spot alligators, manatees, and a variety of bird species, or head to Crystal River to swim with gentle manatees.
